Ricinus
Ricinus is a liquid rich natural gas play in West Central Alberta.
RMP has an interest in a large contiguous land block of over 40 gross sections (25,600 acres) of land with an average working interest of 64 per cent. The land is located in the Deep Basin fairway and is prospective for multi-zone targets. The Glauconite, Ellerslie, and Basal Quartz/Cadomin are prospective targets that RMP has mapped over its extensive land block.
Recent results by industry, targeting the Cretaceous Ellerslie channel systems that are present throughout the area, have been very encouraging. Wells testing at rates from 5 to 10 MMcf/d, with 40 Bbls/MMcf liquids from vertical wells have been announced at locations bordering RMP's large land position. RMP and its partner are currently evaluating 2D and 3D seismic to determine the potential for future drilling.
