Waskahigan

Waskahigan is a Montney light oil play in Central Alberta situated about 270 kilometres northwest of Edmonton.

RMP holds a 100 per cent working interest in 38 sections of land at Waskahigan. It is our major operational focus due to its high potential and encouraging light oil production to date. 12 wells have been drilled with seven on production and five waiting on tie-in.

We currently have two drilling rigs active in the field, and 37 locations in the process of being licensed with 60 further drilling locations in a full development scenario.

RMP intends to undertake a multi-phased approach to field development at Waskahigan. The first phase will consist of 28 horizontal wells with an additional 36 locations planned for the second phase, upon regulatory down-spacing approval.

A 100 per cent owned oil battery and compression facility at Waskahigan is scheduled for completion and commissioning in early fourth quarter of 2011. The battery will have initial oil processing capacity of 4,200 boe/d (2,500 bbl/d of oil handling). Corporate production levels will increase with the completion of the battery in the fourth quarter of 2011.
